An anti-puzzle platformer where you have to die to progress.
A Gen Z salaryman is cursed by Death herself. To reach the next level, he must discover every possible way to die — then make it to the exit alive. Death mocks him with every failure.
Each heart at the top of the screen represents one death to find. Find them all to turn the exit light green.
CONTROLS
Left / Right arrows : Move
Space : Jump
Ctrl : Run (higher jump)
Double-tap Ctrl : High Speed (unlocked at level 4)
Esc : Back to menu
Enter or Click : Confirm menu
RULES
Each level has a number of hearts equal to the number of deaths to find. Find every death to turn the exit light green.
Reaching the exit while it is red triggers a partial reset (deaths you already found are kept). Reaching the exit while it is green completes the level and unlocks the next one. Dying when you have zero hearts left triggers a full reset of the level.
TECH
100% client side — HTML5 Canvas and WebAudio. No dependencies, no internet required. Everything fits in a single file.
Procedural pixel art sprites. Real-time generated sounds and voice (WebAudio and speechSynthesis). Local progress saving (localStorage).
Made with frustration and questionable life choices.
